About Stephanie
I'm based in Austin, Texas, and have 8+ years of experience in product design. I was most recently the lead product designer across Property Detail Pages at Realtor.com, and earlier this year I completed d.MBA's 6-month business certification program.
As a designer, I see my role as building the bridge between how a system works and how a human will receive it. I approach design broadly, focusing on systems, service, or data design when the problem is primarily functionality and performance, and on color theory, visual balance, or motion when the problem is primarily perception and behavior. Either way, my goal is to find the lever that actually moves our desired outcome.
I have worked for startups as well as enterprise-level companies, and across web, iOS, Android, and desktop software.
Outside of design, I love spooky things, vintage shopping, word games (I'm part of a weekly Scrabble club), catching a good Texas sunset, trying out new restaurants and bars, and yapping with my friends over margaritas (with Tajín on the rim, please).
