I'm Stephanie Embry, a lead product designer focused on navigating complex systems and making design decisions products can build on for years.

As a designer, I value compassion, intention, and longevity above all else. I see my role as building the bridge between systems and humans: not just what looks nice, but how a process feels to a person, how the system can best respond to human behavior, and how design decisions we make right now determine how nimble our product can be in the future.

Outside of design, I love spooky things and ghost stories (look up the illustrations of Edward Gorey), learning about psychology, vintage shopping, trying out new restaurants and bars, and yapping over margaritas with my friends (with Tajín on the rim, please).

I grew up in North Texas, and have a B.F.A. in Communication Design from the University of North Texas. I started my career in consulting where I honed my visual finesse, love of complex systems, and ability to articulate design decisions to challenging stakeholders. I have worked with startups as well as enterprise-level companies, and have experience designing for web, iOS, Android, and desktop software.
